Saturday 22nd January - Results

Chadlington First Team travelled to Hailey Reserves in Division One on Saturday looking to bounce back from a hammering the week before at home to Witney Royals.

Hailey is always a difficult location to travel to but Chad made light work of their opponents on the day with an impressive performance.

They came away with a 2-0 win with Alfie Peachey scoring on his return to the side. John Walker also scored his first goal for the club.

The win lifts Chad to fourth in the Division One table.

Team: Bayliss, Foster, T Walker, D Cleevely, J Walker, E Bennett, Korge, Curtis, Roberts, Chadwick, Peachey. Subs: Boeing

Next Match - v TBC - Saturday 5th February.

Chadlington Reserves were at home to Freeland Reserves in the Quarter Final of the Jack Busby Memorial Trophy. While their opponents play in the league below Chad, they were in good form and favourites for a promotion spot to Division Three.

The Reserves themselves are in a sticky period of form with an ever changing line up that has not helped stability.

Despite a good performance from Chad, Freeland were just too good on the day and made their chances count. They ran out 4-1 winners with Chads only consolation coming from a second half penalty won by George Slatter and dispatched by Aaron Bennett.

Team: Ware, Hobden, Betts, Wilkinson, A Bennett, Jefferies, J Cleevely, Jordan, Mayne, Esteves, Slatter. Subs: Taylor, S Bennett, Waller

Next Match: AWAY v Wootton Sports Reserves - Sat 29th January
